My name is Marfil Villegas, the daughter of Juan Villegas, who died due to a hit and run on Van Nuys on October 19 at 10 pm. A white 2008 Chevrolet Silverado hit him. My dad died on the scene while the truck fled and was found a few blocks down.

This was tragic and unexpected, and I still don’t have the words to say anything.

My dad was an amazing, happy soul. He was always cracking jokes and going to El Pajarete with his friends.
