Our friend and co-worker Juan Carlos has been in Intensive Care at Stanford since March 10 after needing emergency heart surgery. This has been an incredibly challenging time for him and his loved ones, and we want to do everything we can to support them.

Juan Carlos’s partner, Lydia, and his mom have been by his side every day, providing comfort and strength as he recovers. While his health insurance is covering his medical care, Lydia and his mom have taken unpaid leave from work to be with him. The costs of food, gas, and daily expenses for traveling to and from the hospital are adding up quickly, and we want to help ease their burden so they can focus on Juan Carlos’s recovery.
