Support for Josiah and Darrien Terry
Donation protected
On March 21st, 2023 Josiah Terry fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a tree. He was able to pull himself from the car and lean between the car and the door. A passerby saw the car on fire and pulled Josiah away from the burning vehicle. He was taken to a local hospital and treated for trauma.
He had a 10 inch gash on his head, two broken ankles, dislocated hip, chipped bone fragment in his hip, lacerations and deep bruising. After two surgeries for his head wound and his right ankle at local Regional Hospital, he was transported to St. Vincent's hospital in Indianapolis for further surgeries on his broken ankles. He has pins in both ankles now and will be non weight bearing for at least three months. He has to go back for surgery in three weeks on his hip.
Our goal is to help pay for bills and living expenses for this newly married couple while Josiah is out of work for several months. He will need home care during this time and physical therapy before going back to work, and we would like to help cover that as well.
Many people have already been very generous with prayers and support, and the family is very grateful. Any support, prayers or otherwise, will be greatly appreciated.
