Don and Amy Summitt are devoted parents to their son Joshua, who is just 9 years old, and their daughter Teresa. Two years ago, Joshua was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma in his left upper arm. The diagnosis was devastating, but Joshua bravely faced vigorous treatments at Stanford Children’s Hospital. The family was relieved when the cancer went into remission. Unfortunately, during a routine checkup in August 2025, doctors discovered that Joshua’s cancer had returned and spread.
Since then, Joshua has been undergoing more treatments, and the family’s world has been turned upside down. Amy has stopped working so she can care for Joshua and Teresa full time. Don is now the only one working to support the family, and whenever he’s not at work, he’s by Joshua’s side at the hospital or at home. The emotional and financial toll has been immense, but the Summitts continue to show incredible strength and love for each other.
The funds raised will help cover mounting medical bills, travel expenses for treatments, and daily living costs. Most importantly, your support will give the Summitt family some relief and hope during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference and remind them that they are not alone in this fight. Many heartfelt thanks for your support.
