Support for Joshua's Knee Surgery & Therapy
Donation protected
Josh has cerebral palsy (CP) and having major surgery on May 06, 2021, to correct both anatomical (knee surgery) and neurological muscle related to tightness release.
From a very young child, Josh shows determination to prove the doctors wrong, saying "he'd never walk or talk." Over the past year, through his growth spurts, he has begun to lose his mobility and is having to rely more on his wheelchair to get around.
When meeting with the doctors, Daniel and Wendy Lunt were told they are in a window of time to provide extensive surgery to enable Josh to be ambulatory and will take lots of therapy and effort on Joshua's part for this process to be effective.
Today, we are asking for your help in providing Josh with a therapy pool that will help him in his pre and post-surgery therapy to help him walk. No amount is too small or too large, and we appreciate all of the support you have given Josh thus far.
Some of the benefits of aquatic therapy can be found here: https://www.hydroworx.com/research-education/additional-resources/cerebral-palsy-aquatic-therapy/
