On Sunday evening, the Addison/Gazell family suffered the loss of their oldest son, Josh, due to yet another senseless act of violence. Josh was loving, caring, and kind. A creative and dedicated father, he carried an heir of belief in others, that when they were in his field, they too would believe in themselves. He was a dear friend to many and opened his home to both people and dogs in need. He had a beautiful heart, and when he brought you in as a friend, he would do anything he could to help wherever possible. He loved deeply and was a passionate creator of different mediums of art, photography being his favorite. Josh and his former partner, Valerie, worked together to ensure a good life for their teenage daughter, who adored her father.

We all want Josh's family to know how loved he was, and to show our support in this unbelievably difficult time. This fundraiser was created for that reason. What support we can provide right now is to give the family time to review the next steps in this awful process without the added financial pressures. All donations will go to Josh's mother, Ann, to cover funeral costs, repair damages to Josh's home, and to fill the gaps for his daughter's college fund in his absence.
