Hi everyone, I’m reaching out today for someone who has always been a bright light in our community—José Gomez. José is one of the kindest people I know, and he’s always helped others, especially during recent crises—delivering groceries to those in need when times were tough. Right now, he’s facing a tough time himself. Due to complications from his Type 2 diabetes, José has been hospitalized, and they are amputating his big toe and part of his foot. As a taxi driver, this has left him unable to work at a time when gas prices were already making things difficult. I’d love to rally support to help José cover his rent, utilities, and groceries for at least the next two months while he recovers and gets back on his feet. Any amount helps, and I know he would never ask for this himself—so let’s show him how much his kindness means to all of us.
