Jose is my brother, and he has always been my rock throughout my life. We share a close bond, and seeing him face such a difficult battle has been incredibly hard. In February, Jose was diagnosed with cancer, and since then, his life has been turned upside down. He had to stop working to undergo tests and treatments, and although he tried to return to work for a few hours a day, it hasn’t been enough to keep up with his bills. Now, with surgery scheduled in the coming weeks, he will need to stop working completely to focus on his recovery.

Jose is a very proud person, and it’s not easy for him to accept help. But as his sibling, I want to do everything I can to support him. The financial strain has been overwhelming—he’s fallen behind on rent, electricity, gas, and car insurance, and even putting food on the table has become a challenge. I’m reaching out to our community in hopes that we can come together to help relieve some of this burden so Jose can focus on healing.
