Hi, I'm Alehandro Burluraux NZIMA. My father is Joseph. He is sick. He has a corticotrophic pituitary macroadenoma with disconnection hyperprolectinemia, complicated by non-symptomatic chiasmal compression.

‎DETAILED INFORMATION

‎Following severe headaches that no longer responding to painkillers, that were becoming increasingly frequent and of increasing intensity, he was referred to the ophthalmologist, who referred him to the neurosurgeon, who finally referred him to the endocrinologist.

‎First, the endocrinologist diagnosed this corticotrophic pituitary macroadenoma with disconnection hyperprolectinemia, complicated by non-symptomatic chiasmatic compression, associated with peripheral hypothyroidism.

‎Then, after all the confirmatory tests, the endocrinologist indicated urgent neurosurgery for pituitary adenomatous resection and optic chiasm decompression, the emergency being complete blindness.

‎Finally, the endocrinologist and his colleagues therefore recommended the foreign expertise of specialized centers in pituitary neurosurgery (located in India), equipped with more modern technical facilities and less invasive and innovative approaches for optimal quality of care, and thus limiting the risk of significant postoperative complications in his case.

‎ Suite à de violentes céphalées n'obéissant plus aux antalgiques, de plus en plus fréquentes et d'une intensité désormais croissante, il a été référé chez l'ophtalmologue qui l'a référé chez le neurochirurgien qui enfin l'a référé chez l' endocrinologue.

‎ D'abord, l' endocrinologue a diagnostiqué ce macroadenome hypophysaire corticotrope avec hyperprolectinémie de déconnexion, compliqué de compression chiasmatique non symptomatique, associé à une hypothyroïdie périphérique.

‎Ensuite, après tous les examens de confirmation, l' endocrinologue indique la réalisation urgente d'une neurochirurgie de résection adénomateuse hypophysaire et de décompression du chiasma optique, l'urgence étant une cécité complète.

‎Enfin, l' endocrinologue et ses collègues indiquent par conséquent l'expertise étrangère des centres spécialisés en neurochirurgie hypophysaire (situé en Inde), dotés d'un plateau technique plus moderne et des voies d'abord moins invasives et innovantes pour une qualité de prise en charge optimale, et ainsi limiter le risque de complications post opératoires non négligeables dans son cas.
