Support for Joseph 'Peanut' Ritchie

On Saturday 21st of June 2025, Nedland’s stalwart Joseph 'Peanut' Ritchie suffered had a traumatic injury while playing 3rd Grade against Joondalup Brothers, ultimately breaking his C4 and C3 vertebrae.

For anyone who knows, or has had the distinction of playing against Joseph, you would understand that while he is an absolute warrior on the field, he is equally as much of a gentleman off it.

In recognition of the events that took place and in support of the initiatives that are already underway to provide support to the Ritchie family in these uncertain times, please be aware that this fundraiser has been set up on behalf of Joseph by the Palmyra Rugby Union Club. We hope to present the total amount raised at our home game against Nedlands on July 19 2025.

Now is the time to show our support in the wider rugby union family and donate to this cause. Every donation, no matter how big nor small, will go a long way in supporting Joseph and his family moving forward.
