It all began with what seemed like a regular hospital visit for my dad, Jorge Rodriguez, who was experiencing stomach pain. None of us could have imagined that this would lead to an extended stay and a heartbreaking fight for his life in the ICU. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, we lost him, and we still have no answers as to why this happened so suddenly. The shock and grief have been overwhelming for our family, and we’re left searching for comfort and understanding in the midst of this tragedy.

My dad leaves behind three kids, his 1 year old granddaughter, his mom, his girlfriend, and so many others who loved him deeply. The loss has left a huge hole in our lives, and we’re now faced with unexpected funeral expenses. We want to honor his memory and give him the farewell he deserves, but the costs are more than we can manage on our own.
