My brother, Jordan Cabello, is a hardworking young man who has always given his best at his job with an oilfield company in Victoria, TX. Recently, while coming back from work, Jordan was involved in a terrible car accident that nearly cost him his life. He was airlifted to the trauma ICU in Corpus Christi, TX, where he is now receiving intensive care. The severity of his injuries means he will need to stay in the hospital for an extended period, and he will require a lot of medical attention, as well as both physical and emotional therapy to recover.
Our family is currently staying in a hotel near the hospital so we can be close to Jordan and support him through this difficult time. However, the financial strain is starting to take its toll. We are traveling back and forth from Corpus Christi to Yoakum, and the costs of hotels, travel, and soon-to-arrive medical bills are becoming overwhelming. At first, Jordan’s job offered to help, but we haven’t heard from anyone since, and we are now reaching out for assistance.
It would mean so much for my family to receive support right now. We are not the type to ask for help—we always try our hardest to work through tough times—but this situation has left us with no other option. We are truly blessed and thankful for the friends, family, and kind-hearted people willing to help in any way, even if it’s just keeping us in your prayers. We have so much faith that Jordan will overcome this, and we are grateful for any support you can offer.
