On the afternoon of January 29, 2017, a loving father and husband was taken from his family too soon.  Joon Kyu Lim was diagnosed three months ago with Stage IV bone cancer. He is survived by his wife, Bohee Joy Lim, and his three children, David, Sarah, and Esther.

Joon Kyu Lim was a father, a devoted Christian, but above all: a man who put others before himself. He served as a volunteer jail chaplain for the LA Twin Tower Jail in a span of four years, tirelessly working to spread his faith and goodwill to everyone he met.
