Hi everyone, and thank you for taking a moment to read our story. We’re Jon and Holly, and we’re reaching out to our community during this unexpectedly difficult time for our family. Holl

y is currently 32 weeks pregnant, and last week she experienced a small amniotic fluid leak. She was admitted to the hospital for a couple days, and while she is now home and stable, things are still complicated. holly is a full time student (online luckily) however now has to go to the hospital every day for monitoring, and she’s on restricted activity (bedrest) to try to keep labor from starting before 34 weeks. The doctors plan to deliver the baby by c-section, and we’re doing everything we can to keep both Holly and the baby safe.

Because Holly needs help with daily tasks and we still have our two kids to care for, I’ve had to take a leave of absence from work to take care of the family full time. This has made things really tight financially, really fast. On top of that, the doctors are expecting the baby to need a NICU stay for at least a couple weeks after birth. We’re preparing for all of that as best we can, but the financial stress is honestly overwhelming. We’re setting up this GoFundMe to help us stay afloat during this time—groceries, bills, gas for the daily hospital trips, and anything we’ll need once the baby arrives and goes into the NICU.
