My Grandma Jolene Schultz is 74 years old. Before she was admitted to the hospital she was still working, she was a CNA and worked at an assisted living. She has a love for others like no other and has always put others before her. She has a heart of gold! My Grandma has been in the hospital since Monday November 17th, she had a really bad UTI- which is a urinary tract infection, she was so sick from the UTI that it led to sepsis, she then also had two strands of bacteria which caused E-coli, she was getting a little better but because of how sick she was she was slowly declining which lead to kidney failure. They had to transport her to St Mary’s Essentia Health in Duluth MN on November 21st. The doctors here in Duluth are so amazing and we know she is in good hands. They had to put her on life support and 24 hour dialysis, she also has a breathing tube down her throat to help her breathe. She is slowly but surely getting better, and the doctors said she is going to get better. We are making this go fund me to help support her through this long and difficult journey. The expenses will go towards any uncovered or unexpected medical expenses and will help them with some bills. Grandma Joe is at that age where she will no longer be working and she will be focusing on taking care of herself. It would be such a blessing to be able to give her a nice chunk of money as then she can be worry and stress free.
