Our beautiful friend Jojo (Jyotir) is bravely fighting Stage 4 Signet Cell Adenocarcinoma (stomach cancer) that has spread to her spine, lungs, and bones. Anyone that knows Jojo knows that she is one of those rare people who radiates love and laughter wherever she goes. She gives so much of herself to others — her kindness, her humor, her warmth — and she’s deeply loved by everyone who knows her.


Jojo’s fiancé, Asher (Akins), has been by her side every step of the way for many years — caring for her, managing appointments, and making sure she’s as comfortable as possible. Right now, neither Jojo nor Asher are able to work, as Jojo’s care and treatment require their full attention and energy. This GoFundMe has been created to help relieve some of the financial burden they’re facing so they can focus entirely on Jojo’s health and time together.
