Recently, our community was dealt a devastating blow with the sudden and unexpected passing of our brother, John Rosenberger.
As all who knew him can attest, Johnny Rosenberger loved life. Never taking a day for granted, Johnny spent his time bettering the lives of those around him. He was as passionate about his comedy community as he was about his NYC community, and he made every effort to enrich and improve them both. Whether he was supporting fellow comics or fellow neighbors, Johnny loved watching others thrive and succeed. He was all of our greatest champion.
As we try to make sense of this tragic loss we are raising funds for a funeral service to honor John’s memory, a memorial bench solidifying our brother as a fixture forever in the community, as well as supporting his family covering any bills that come with such an unexpected tragedy.
The memorial service is set for:
Sunday, June 28
3 to 7 PM
Provenzano Lanza Funeral Home
43 2nd Ave
NY, NY
(Between 2nd and 3rd Streets)
Your kindness and generosity mean a great deal and will make a lasting difference in honoring John’s legacy. Any remaining funds after the memorial and expenses will be donated to charities that were dear to Johnny’s heart.
Everyone who came into contact with Johnny knows what a uniquely special person he was. He meant so much to so many. When a heart as big as John Rosenberger’s stops beating all of our hearts beat a little lighter.
The world needs more Johnny Rosenbergers. How lucky are we to have had the One and Only…
“KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, BABY”
