Our brother, John Pottier, husband, father, uncle, son, died January 28, 2026. He was only 63 years old. John was the primary breadwinner for his family, and with his death comes not just a hole in our hearts, but the tension of not knowing how his family will meet their financial obligations.
John worked as a transportation driver for North East ARC. His co-workers and those he transported loved seeing his smiling face and ready laugh. He leaves behind his wife, Carol, and three sons, young men who love their dad so very much. They are devastated.
John was an Oddfellow, a member of the Bass River Oddfellows Lodge #41 in Beverly, MA. His lodge brothers, his friends, miss him and are being very supportive.
Thus far, with help, we have been able to pay for a cremation, incidentals, and the most recent bills that came due at the end of the week of his passing. There are more questions than answers at this moment regarding how to pay for rent, car payments, insurance, utilities, phone, and more.
John gave his heart to his family. He was the glue that held them all together. Without him, the challenges seem insurmountable.
He gave willingly to others. If you have the means, will you consider offering some amount to help his family? We are hoping financial support will help pay for immediate bills until we can secure something more permanent.
