Justice and Support for John Marczaks Family

My name is Steph Toohey. I met John at Newington High School and instantly became friends in 1999. We lost touch for a good 15 years but picked up again like we were still at NHS. He was my concert buddy, my best guy friend, my number 1 happy hour friend and over the last 3 years felt like a brother to me.

I am starting this GoFundMe in loving memory of our friend John Marczak, who tragically lost his life after being intentionally hit by a car on June 7th.

John was the kindest, funniest, and most generous person you’d ever meet. The type of person who’d give you the shirt off his back without a second thought.

He lived life to the fullest, always down to go to any concert or festival as long as it wasn't country music. He boasted about his two beautiful daughters evertime I saw him and would always talk about how much he loved and cared about his Mom. He was an awesome, amazing, loving - father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, coworker the list goes on. This is an unimaginable tragedy his family is going through compounded by a murder trial that we shall pray will serve some justice for John.

We(everyone who shares) are raising these funds to help his family with funeral expenses and other financial burdens during this unimaginable time. Specifically for his teenage daughters. Anything you can contribute, big or small, will help to relieve a little of that stress. Information for a celebration of John's life will be announced at later time.
