Help Support Sara's Children: John Luke and Nora Grace.
This is for Sara... Our Sara, John Luke and Nora Grace’s mom, our sister, our aunt, our cousin. Sara was a beacon of love and compassion, always putting others before herself. She dedicated her life to caring for children who were underdogs, teaching them with kindness and respect. Sara's journey was not easy; she overcame a challenging childhood and faced many struggles as an adult. Despite this, she spent most of her work life helping children in her community. Sara shared truth with compassion, respect, and understanding for those in need. Sara strove to help and support in whatever way necessary for each individual to be successful.
Sara's children, John Luke and Nora Grace, need our support now. Sara passed away unexpectedly from cardiac arrest and sleep apnea just a week ago. Her 10-year-old daughter found her unresponsive in the morning.
Now more than ever, John Luke and Nora Grace need to continue participating in therapeutic, supervised activities to help them cope with their loss and stay safe. John Luke, who has a non-verbal learning disorder, requires structured, controlled environments to play. Without this, he struggles to make safe choices. Sara used to take him to children's museums, horse riding lessons, trampoline parks, and the pool.
Nora Grace also needs therapeutic support as well as the freedom to play and develop independently. She loves gymnastics and horse therapy, but she has her own struggles coping with stress. Losing her mom has been especially challenging and additional support will be needed.
Sara spent her career supporting children in need. She spent her personal time and any extra money on memberships and activities for her own children, prioritizing their needs over household repairs. Now, we need your help to continue providing these essential activities for Sara’s children.
Your donation will go towards:
Structured therapeutic and play activities for John Luke
Gymnastics and horse therapy for Nora Grace
Other supervised activities to help them cope with their loss
Every little bit helps. Let's come together to support Sara's children and ensure they have the resources they need to thrive.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
