It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the tragic passing of my dear husband, John Koontz II. At 2:00 AM last night, John was struck by a vehicle that ran a red light, leading to his untimely death. This senseless accident has left us devastated.

John was an incredible man—selfless, loving, and devoted to our family. He always put others before himself, making sure I could pursue my collegiate dreams and ensuring our children were well cared for. He took our oldest to school every day and was a dedicated stay-at-home dad to our youngest. To make ends meet, John worked overnight delivering food, all while balancing his responsibilities at home.

We are at a loss for words during this unimaginable time, and I am reaching out to ask for help. This tragedy was unforeseen, and any funds raised will go directly toward funeral expenses and securing a future for our children.
