We are starting this fund in support of John and Cindy Castro. On November 1st, John had a stroke. After finding a large blockage in his carotid artery and a smaller blockage in his brain, John was transferred to Northwestern Hospital. John underwent extensive surgery to remove the blockages and later to place a stent. John was transferred to Shirley Ryan Rehab and has worked hard to improve, but there have been setbacks. John is unable to move his right arm or leg at this time. The doctors are very hopeful he will regain his mobility, but it will require extensive rehab. His wife, Cindy, cannot work while caring for John. To relieve some of the financial pressure and give them one less thing to worry about during this difficult time, a GoFundMe has been created.
