Support for John Bryant Garcia Diagnosed with GBS

Hi Everyone,
October 31, 2019, my Brother-in-Law, John Bryant Garcia, was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) in the Philippines. GBD is a rare but serious autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks healthy nerve cells in peripheral nervous system (PNS). This leads to weakness, numbness, and tingling, and can eventually cause paralysis.
The cause of this condition is unknown, but it’s typically triggered by an infectious illness.
For the treatment, the patient may get a plasma exchange or intravenous immune globulin (IVIG).
The cost of medication is PhP56,000 ($1,474) per set of vials/intravenous per day to be administered in three-five days. Subsequent care/therapy and treatments are needed and can take months and even years to recover.
John Bryant is wonderful person, a loving husband to my amazing sister Aileen, and a supportive father to their two kids, Skye and Snow.
Their family really needed financial support as John Bryant has been laid off since March this year and the emergency happened.
