Hello. This is Melanie from Silver Birch Press. This fundraiser is to honor one of our authors, John Brantingham, who passed away suddenly on April 5, 2026, at the young age of 55. John Brantingham was born during the Christmas season in 1970 and left the world during the Easter season in 2026 (also National Poetry Month). John's work and personal interactions reveal that he had a mystical understanding of life and what made it meaningful. His reach was far and wide -- family, friends, colleagues, students, the world. John's family has many unanticipated expenses at this time. If you would like to help alleviate their burden and show your support, your contributions would be most welcome.
