Support for Joey & Thomas' Medical & Mobility

Joey Beerman and Thomas Van Kirk are two elderly individuals facing significant challenges in their daily lives. Living with disabilities, they struggle to get by on minimal assistance. Thomas need Dental help as He suffers greatly from pain as he is losing his teeth and cannot get medical assistance from Va to treat and we cannot afford a dentist. Without a car, they find it difficult to attend doctor's appointments, go shopping, or run errands, as they live far from any public transit options. This lack of transportation also makes it nearly impossible for them to access laundry facilities, leaving them in dire need of a washer and dryer to maintain clean clothes. Also recovering from a hit and run accident .An Suv ran a stop sign last Thursday and launched me from my bicycle 20 feet out on to the main avenue and took off. So am laid up with a fair amount of pain and hard to get out to get things taken care of. Thank you for any support

In addition to transportation and laundry needs, Joey and Thomas are in urgent need of proper beds. Currently, they sleep on camping cots, as they cannot afford to purchase beds or transport even used ones. After paying for rent, bills, and utilities, there is little left for other necessities, especially with the rising costs of food and housing.
