On Saturday, March 7th, my uncle Joe was the victim of a violent assault that left him with a skull fracture and five brain bleeds. He is currently in the ICU, fighting for his life on a ventilator. This sudden tragedy has been devastating for our entire family, especially for Joe and his wife, Sue. Joe has always been healthy and worked full time, and this situation has turned their world upside down.

As Joe remains in critical condition, both he and Sue have been unable to work, which has added financial stress to an already heartbreaking situation. The medical expenses are mounting quickly, and the loss of income makes it even harder for them to focus on Joe’s recovery.
