Heartbreaking Update — Our Baby Aniana Has Gained Her Wings

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I share this update. Our sweet 3-week-old baby girl, Aniana, has tragically passed away today, October 27, 2025, after fighting so bravely following the crash on October 23, 2025, along Saddle Road on the Big Island — the same accident that took my beloved mom, Anina Masaichy, at the scene.

Two dates that will forever be imprinted on my heart.

As her mother and the oldest daughter of my mom, my heart is shattered beyond words. Losing my mom and my newborn just days apart is pain I cannot fully describe.

My 4-year-old son, my dad, and my 17-year-old cousin remain in critical condition, and we continue to pray every day for their healing and strength.
