Our family is facing an incredibly difficult season. Just days before Christmas, shortly after arriving at the emergency room, Joe had to undergo an emergency leg amputation to save his life. He is now faced with a serious medical journey. On top of this life altering loss, If you know Joe or have ever met him, you would never imagine that he is a dialysis patient living with diabetes and congestive heart failure, which makes recovery even more complex and challenging.
As Joe learns how to navigate life as an amputee, he is currently unable to work and is focused on healing and surviving day by day. Despite his own health battles, his biggest priority remains supporting and providing for his daughters.
Joe now needs to make essential modifications to his home to live safely and independently such as accessibility accommodations, mobility equipment, and daily living support. Many of these expenses are not fully covered by insurance, and the financial strain has grown overwhelming while medical and living costs continue.
We are asking for help to:
• Support Joe while he is unable to work
• Make necessary home modifications for accessibility and safety
• Assist with medical, dialysis, rehabilitation, and mobility-related expenses
• Help him continue caring for and supporting his daughters
Joe is fighting every day with strength, faith, and determination. Any donation no matter the size will help ease the burden during this critical time. If you’re unable to give, sharing this page and keeping Joe in your prayers is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness, love, and support during this journey. Our family is forever grateful.
