My name is Brenda Lopes and I am reaching out to friends, family and the community, to help Jody Schoch and family during this difficult time.

Jody, unexpectedly, lost her husband, David John Schoch, on January 9, 2026 at the age of 59 years old.

Dave was a very kind and generous soul who touched the lives of so many people. He would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need and truly knew no strangers. Dave was fun-loving, hardworking, and loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His warmth and willingness to help others made a lasting impact on his friends, family, and community.

Dave is a 1985 graduate of Woodland High School and went on to work for Raley’s/Bel-Air for 35 years, recently retiring a few years ago. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Jody, and two children, Jacob and Kaitlin.

We are reaching out for help to cover the costs of funeral services and any financial expenses the family will have along the way.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date and we will keep you all updated.
