Support for JODY OFFEN and Family

Hello friends and family,

As some of you may have heard, this past spring our younger brother Jody, was diagnosed with Amyotropic lateral sclerosis, more commonly known as ALS, or Lou Gehrig's. It is a degenerative neurological disease that robs the body of function! We are devastated by this cruel, advancing illness, but determined to give Jody the best quality of life possible. He has been unable to work since December of last year, and disability benefits don't even come close to covering their monthly household costs, much less the care, equipment and home renovations Jody is needing.

Their bathroom requires modifying for him to be able to use it, plus he urgently needs a wheelchair ramp installed to get into their home.

His wife Penny is an amazing, gentle and nurturing caregiver. Their children, Tommy and Chelsey are extremely supportive and helpful. It warms our hearts!

Please consider giving to this hurting family in their time of need. Every little bit helps. All monies raised will be used to enhance Jody's life with the proper equipment, comfort measures, home modifications and to help cover the increased costs of traveling to and from Calgary for appointments.

We all love Jody. Those that know him, see his love and compassion he has for others. He's a loyal, genuine and giving husband, father, brother and friend. Our hearts are breaking for him and his family.

Please, if you are a praying person, pray that God lifts this family up. That they feel His presence. Pray for a miracle of healing and that faith would triump over fear!
