My name is Joseph, and I’m raising funds for my mother, Joanne, who is currently in hospice care and nearing the end of her life after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

For the past two and a half years, my mom fought with incredible strength and resilience. She underwent three major surgeries and went through nine different lines of chemotherapy in hopes of beating this disease. Unfortunately, despite her fight, there is no cure.

Beyond her illness, my mom was a strong and loving woman who raised two boys on her own and helped shape us into the men we are today. She was also a sweet, caring person to anyone she met, always showing kindness and warmth. She enjoyed the simple things in life, good food, being around family, and dancing to merengue típico, which always brought her joy.

Throughout this journey, my brother and I have incurred significant expenses related to her treatment and care, as she was unable to work. We did everything we could to support her and make sure she had what she needed. Now, we are financially preparing for her transition and the costs associated with end-of-life arrangements.

We are deeply grateful for any support to help us give her the dignified farewell she deserves. She is leaving behind two sons and two grandchildren who love her deeply. Her impact on our lives will never be forgotten.

Disfrutaba de las cosas simples de la vida: la buena comida, estar con su familia y bailar merengue típico, lo cual siempre le traía alegría. A lo largo de este proceso, mi hermano y yo hemos asumido gastos significativos relacionados con su tratamiento y cuidado, ya que ella no podía trabajar. Hicimos todo lo posible para apoyarla y asegurarnos de que tuviera todo lo que necesitaba.

Ahora nos estamos preparando económicamente para su transición y los costos asociados con los arreglos de fin de vida. Estamos profundamente agradecidos por cualquier apoyo que nos ayude a darle la despedida digna que merece. Deja a dos hijos y dos nietos que la aman profundamente.
