Support for Joanne Chavez After Michael's Passing

Hello. My name is Brittany Chavez and I am the daughter of Everardo Hernandez Chavez, also known to many as Michael. My father tragically and unexpectedly passed away on January 14, 2024. He leaves behind my grieving mother, Joanne Chavez, who he shared almost 40 beautiful years full of dear love and light with. My mother is now left behind with unexpected loss and with that comes expenses. I am raising money for the cremation services and the release of his remains to my mother, an expense that totals $1,200. Anything after that will help my mother move out of her apartment which she and my dad shared, where he unfortunately passed away. It will also help her with transportation access (due to her disabilities) and future living expenses.

My mother is the light of my life, and I can only imagine what she meant to my father. She is the strongest person I know, but has fallen on hard times. I would love to take a little of this weight off of her shoulders. With your contribution, my mother will be able to grieve without such an unexpected financial burden.

I will always remember my fathers goofy and tough soul. I will never forget the love he had for my mother. I hope to be half as strong as my father for my mother during this extremely trying time.
