My mother and sister lost everything in the Eaton fire on 1/7/2025. They were evacuated thinking it was precautionary and they would be returning to their home at some point later. Little did they know they would never return to the house they loved dearly and lose everything. They left with one cat, one pair of clothes, and medicine for my mom and sister.

They are moving in with our family for now, so they can grieve and process this tragic natural disaster and get themselves back on their feet. Additionally, our hearts go out to all the people who also lost their homes....so many of them being friends and families I've known since I was a child.
