Support for Joan and Jadaen Williams-Pringle

Joan Williams, a beloved nanny and friend, is facing an unimaginable challenge as she cares for her grandson, Jadaen, following his devastating cancer diagnosis. We are raising funds to support Joan and Jadaen as they navigate this difficult journey.

Jadaen, who is 16 years old, has been under Joan's guardianship for the past two years in Austin, Texas. On August 22, 2024, Jadaen received the heartbreaking diagnosis of Stage IV Renal Cell Carcinoma, a discovery made after he was admitted to the hospital for what was initially thought to be pneumonia. The cancer has spread to his lungs and liver, and while chemotherapy is not an option, treatments are being planned to keep him comfortable and manage his symptoms.

Jadaen is a sophomore at Eastside Early College High School, where he excels both academically and as a star football player. His friends and family are incredibly proud of the wonderful person he has become. As they begin this difficult journey, Joan and Jadaen will need support in many forms, including funds for medical treatment, care, possible travel, and other unforeseen expenses.
