My name is Joan, and I am reaching out during one of the most difficult times of my life. Recently, I lost my beloved husband Dana, who was not only my partner but my best friend. His passing has left a huge hole in my heart and in my life. We had no life or burial insurance, and with Dana gone, I am now living solely on my disability income. Without his social security, I am struggling to make ends meet, and even paying the rent has become a challenge.


The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering my rent, heat, electricity, daily living expenses, pet care, and doctor bills. My pets have been a source of comfort and companionship through this overwhelming and emotionally draining time, but caring for them adds to my financial worries. Every little bit of support will help me keep a roof over our heads and provide for the basic needs that have become so hard to manage on my own.
