I'm making this for my brother-in-law Jimmy. If you know him, you know he’s not the type to ask for help and definitely doesn't like much attention directed at him. That's just who he is, but in a moment that we feel near helpless, this is the next best thing aside from a meal train, but the way his appetite is now that wouldn't provide much relief or support. So here I am putting this out there in hopes to bring any glimmer of relief.

Jimmy has been fighting stage 4 rectal cancer for the past year and a half, receiving treatment in Shreveport. He’s now trying to get to MD Anderson Cancer Center to see if there are any last-resort options left. Insurance has made things complicated, and the financial side of fighting cancer is heavy on top of everything else.

If anything, this will help lift even a small piece of the burden he’s carrying right now. And if there truly are no more treatment options, then I want him to be able to do something that makes him extremely happy, something he chooses, without money being the reason he can’t.

No pressure. No expectations. Just an opportunity for those who love him to show up in a tangible way.
