The King family is facing one of the hardest battles of their lives, and they need our support now more than ever. In 2020, Jim King, husband, father, grandfather, and friend was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. After years of fighting, the cancer has metastasized and spread throughout his entire body, and his journey has been marked by countless treatments of chemo and radiation, long hospital days, and moments that have tested his strength in every way possible. Through it all, Jim has continued to fight with courage, patience, and determination for himself and his loved ones around him.

Born on July 2, 1958, Jim has spent his life giving to others. He has always been one to show up, to help, the one who made his family and friends feel cared for. As Jim’s health has declined, the King family has stepped into full-time caregiving while also working full-time jobs and caring for their own families. They are doing everything in their power to keep Jim comfortable, supported, and surrounded by love. But the emotional, physical, and financial strain has become overwhelming. Medical expenses, supplies, caregiving costs, and everyday necessities are adding up quickly.

We are asking for financial help to ease this burden on the King family during an unimaginably difficult time. Any amount, no matter how small, will help relieve and allow them to focus on what truly matters: being with Jim, caring for him, and cherishing the time they have left together.
