Hi everyone,

I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend, Jillian Hall who recently experienced the unexpected and heartbreaking loss of her mother, Karen at just 62 years old.

Jillian was living and working in Alaska for the summer when she received the heartbreaking news. She had to leave her job immediately and return home, not only to grieve this unimaginable loss but also to take on the overwhelming responsibilities left behind all on her own.

As Karen’s only daughter, Jillian is now managing the expenses of her mother’s home and cremation without the support of a will or financial plan left in place. The sudden change has placed a heavy financial burden on her, especially as she was relying on her seasonal job to support herself for the rest of the year.

Funds raised will go directly toward:

Cremation and memorial costs

Expenses related to her mother’s home and belongings

Jillian’s living costs while she finds stability again

Her mother was a deeply kind and loving person who loved animals including her two cats, Jack and Sally. She meant the world to Jillian and everyone who knew her. Her passing has left a tremendous void.
