At 62 years old, my mom is facing one of the hardest battles of her life.

Recently, our world was turned upside down when my mom was diagnosed with advanced stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to her liver. The news has been devastating for all of us. As she faces this battle, the costs of treatments, medications, and travel for care have quickly become overwhelming.

Despite her strength and resilience, we know we can’t do this alone. A devoted single mother who has spent decades working tirelessly to provide for her family, Despite her strength and determination, this diagnosis has brought emotional, physical, and financial challenges that no one should face alone.

Throughout her life, she has always been the one giving whether it was supporting her children, helping friend in need, or simply being a warm, reliable presence for everyone around her. Now, she needs our help.

She sacrificed so much for me and my older brother, making sure we had every opportunity she could provide. She never smoked, never did drugs, and never drank heavily—she simply focused on caring for her family and community. Last September, she finally retired, looking forward to enjoying her well-earned rest and the simple joys of life.
