Hi, my name is Michelle and I am fundraising to pay for my father's funeral services and medical expenses. My father, Jesus, was an enthusiastic and passionate family man throughout his entire life. He worked hard to provide for his family despite the challenges he faced. He loved to care after his plants and grow vegetables/fruits for our family. He had a passion for music, such as writing/singing and was in a band from the 70's to the early 2000s. One thing I admired from him, was the strength he had to overcome any medical issue he dealt with and come back home to his family at the end. Despite the pain and life changes he faced, he remained optimistic.

For 7 years, he dealt with cardiac health issues, until he was fortunate to receive a heart transplant on September 15, 2023. For the last 8 months, he was in and out of the hospital, fighting to remain strong and healthy post surgery and fought to live a normal life once again. Three weeks ago, he underwent an emergency brain surgery due to an infection that took over his brain. As much hard as he fought he was unable to wake up again. Our family is in shock with the escalation of events that led to his passing. We appreciate everyone's concern for our family.
