Who is Jessica Ross? Jessica Ross is a resident of Houston, Texas who is in need of a portable oxygen concentrator. Family and friends describe Jessica as hardworking, kind, loving and selfless individual. Jessica raised two boys as a single parent, and recently became a grandmother. She has been employed by her current employer for over 13 years, and struggles to carry a heavy portable oxygen tank to work on a daily basis.
Over 11 years ago, Jessica was diagnosed with SARCOIDOSIS an inflammatory disease that affects multiple organs in the body, but mostly the lungs and lymph glands. Currently she is in stage 4, and struggles with symptoms on a daily basis. Jessica suffers from chest pain, shortness of breath, blurry vision, nausea, and dizziness. Having sought treatment and other preventive methods over the past years, her condition is now considered chronic.
Jessica has incurred many medical expenses and requires oxygen 24 hours a day. She is in desperate need of a smaller portable oxygen concentrator that will allow her to be significantly more comfortable, and capable of moving outside the home and work . This machine would allow Jessica the flexibility to use at home, work and even travel by air, without trying to carry a heavy portable tank. This concentrator would give Jessica the freedom to be more interactive with family, and help her move freely with daily functions and responsibilities. Although Jessica is gainfully employed, her medical insurance doesn’t cover the oxygen concentrator that is needed at this time.
There is no cure for sarcoidosis, but there is hope! Our goal Is $6,000, the cost of the oxygen concentrator. Thank you for considering this cause and your support! Every dollar counts and if you are not able to give, please keep Jessica in your prayers.
Please share this cause with others. (A DOLLAR, A PRAYER AND A SHARE!)
