Support for Jessica Browns (Emms) Cancer Battle

This February 2021, in the peak of a global pandemic, Jessica, at 36 years old, was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Breast Cancer). The shock of this devastating news is made more complicated as Jessica is also currently 26 weeks pregnant with their third child. She and her husband Porter, two daughters Ellery (3.5 years old) and Claira (1.5 years old) are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their warrior baby this spring.
Before their son arrives, Jessica will have to undergo several rounds of chemotherapy to treat and shrink the cancer, while their son is monitored closely. Postpartum, her journey will continue. She will require surgery to remove the cancer, followed by additional therapies that may include more chemotherapy, radiation, and hormone therapy.
Throughout all of this, Jess has remained Jess; determined, strong, and concerned for everyone else’s wellbeing, especially her son’s. However, it is a guarantee that these months to come are going to be a challenge. Cancer treatment often comes with not only a physical and emotional burden but also a financial one. Not all treatments are covered, travel may be involved, Jess will have to be off work, as well as Porter for appointments. With a baby on the way and wife who is unwell, Porter will also take time away from his business.
Jess is many things to many people, a devoted wife, loving daughter, protective big sister, fiercely loyal friend but above all she is an INCREDIBLE mother. Many people have reached out asking how they can help, we felt this may be the best avenue for anyone who would like to contribute and support the Brown family during this unimaginably difficult time. Please help us lighten the load for her and her growing family.
