On January 17, 2026, our dear friends Jessica and Jonathan experienced every family’s worst nightmare when their home was destroyed in a devastating fire. Thankfully, Jessica, Jonathan, their three boys, and dog were all able to escape safely. While we are incredibly grateful that they are all safe, their home is a total loss.

In such a short amount of time, they lost not only their house, but nearly everything inside it – the place they made memories, felt safe, and held the things they treasured. Now they face the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease the financial burden ahead for the Newtons. Donations will go toward covering their immediate needs – replacing the essentials, paying for temporary housing, and filling in the gaps as they navigate the challenges with insurance.

There is so much uncertainty for Jessica and Jonathan with what will be covered, what will be able to be replaced, and how they ultimately navigate that. Any amount you can give – no matter how small – will be so meaningful, while they navigate the hard season ahead.
