On December 13, 2025, our family’s world was turned upside down when Sam Jacobs passed away unexpectedly. His sudden loss has left us heartbroken and in shock, struggling to understand how someone so full of life could be gone so quickly.
Sam was truly one of a kind. He was cheerful, outspoken, and unapologetically himself 100% of the time. He had strong opinions and was never afraid to share them, but that honesty was part of what made him so special. He lived loudly, loved deeply, and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. I looked up to Sam because he never pretended to be anything other than who he was.
The love story between Sam and my mom, Jessica, was something truly beautiful. They brought so much joy into each other’s lives, and even through hardships, they stood by one another with a level of love and devotion that was impossible to miss. Sam adored my mom. He loved sharing Miller Lites with her, going to wineries together, and simply doing life side by side. Anytime their wedding was mentioned, Sam would tear up, overwhelmed with happiness that he got to marry the love of his life.
Sam found joy in the simple things: watching the Chicago series (Fire and Med), Friends, The Big Bang Theory, and most recently Fire Country. He was one of my biggest fans, always supportive, always proud. Losing him has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.
As we navigate this unimaginable loss, especially during the Christmas season, we are asking for support. Sam’s passing was unexpected, and any donation, no matter how small, would mean more than words can express. If you see my mom, Jessica, please give her a hug. She needs her village right now.
Sam leaves behind his loving wife, Jessica; his son, Matthew; his daughters, Samantha, Adrianna, Jadyn, and Kila; and his grandson, Samuel. We will miss Sam’s presence, his laughter, and his love beyond measure. Thank you for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
