Jesse Southard tragically passed away in a car crash in the early morning of April 24th, 2026, just one day after turning 20. Jesse was known for his kindness, unique sense of humor, and genuine altruism. He was happiest helping others, blasting music, and working on his many hands-on projects. As a freshman at Montevallo, he pursued a degree in History. His loss is deeply felt by his parents, Jonathan and Leah, his brother Zach, and his entire extended family, including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The suddenness of Jesse’s passing has left his family heartbroken. In addition to the costs of a funeral and celebration of life, Jonathan and Leah will need time away from work to grieve and begin to heal. The financial strain of these circumstances can be overwhelming, and we want to ease that burden as much as possible.
We are asking for donations to help Jonathan and Leah during this devastating time. Your support will go directly toward funeral expenses and provide financial relief while they are off work, allowing them to focus on honoring Jesse’s memory and supporting Zach. As Jesse was always the first to help, any contribution, no matter the size, extols the generosity of a young man lost far too soon. Thank you for providing comfort to this loving family as they navigate unimaginable loss.
