I am Staci, the daughter of Jesse & Pamela Smith. 

On December 7, 2020, my mother passed away suddenly of cardiac arrest in the arms of my father.

Jesse and Pamela have been together since the tender age of 16 and 17. The were married for 49 years. Jesse and Pamela were  true high school sweethearts. They built a beautiful life together with my brother, Steve, and me. They both became R.Ns and later ran their own child care business for 26 years. Their child care business positively impacted hundreds of employees, parents and thousands of kids from the local community and abroad. Always together, hand in hand, they were like the Huxtables from The Cosby Show in real life. They were the mom and dad of the neighborhood and true givers of time, money, wisdom and love. 

In recent years, things had become difficult for them as health and financial issues began to effect their daily life. In 2017, they were forced to shut down the business abruptly, lost their home and vehicles. Even in the midst of their own needs, they still were expecting to be healed and wanted to give in anyway that was possible. 

My mother was my dad's best friend, partner of a lifetime and as he says so often, "His Girl."  The pain and shock of this lost has not only hit him hard personally, it has challenged his ability to provide for his essential needs. 

My family is seeking help from all of our family, friends, community near and far, and anyone with a generous heart who believes in love, blessing others in need and supporting Mr. Jesse Smith, Pamela's true love.

I could go on forever on what a wonderful mom and dad, husband and wife and power couple they were. My dad could really use this blessing.
