Jesse J. Wells, 18, of Montrose, PA passed away, Monday, November 25, 2024. Born October 2, 2006, in Tunkhannock, PA, the son of William Paulin and Rachel Wells.
Jesse was a senior at Montrose High School and Elk Lake’s SCCTC welding program.
In his earlier high school years you could find him tossing a ball on the football field, standing with his bow on his toe on the teams’ archery line or chasing his pig in 4H. As Jesse grew- so did his dreams and they were larger than life! He wasn’t afraid to roll up his sleeves to grind his way to the top- 7 days a week throwing hay or skinning deer was nothing for him. Jesse was passionate about many things, he loved to farm, weld, work on vehicles with friends and hunt. Jesse was the light and laughter we all needed at any given moment. His uncanny ability to smooth over any situation and just roll with the punches was like none other. To know him was to know to know life. He lived the life of hard work and hustle, fun and adventure, family and friends.
Jesse is survived by his parents William and Rachel Paulin, sisters Rhilynd Leschinsky and Scarlett Paulin, brother Kole Paulin; maternal grandparents, grandmother, Kimberly (Robert) Meddleton, Binghamton, NY, grandfather Paul (Kimberly) Wells, Montrose, PA; paternal grandparents, William and Carrie Paulin, Forest City, PA, maternal great-grandparents; Mark and Febb Traver, Owego, NY and AnnMarie Meddleton, Binghamton, NY; paternal great-grandparents, Larry and MaryBeth Cassidy, Ararat, PA, Linda and Ron Kays, New Milford, PA and paternal great-grandmothers Pudgy Paulin, Forest City, PA and Judy Gostkowski; also, the love of his life, Leigha Bloom and his treasured dog Gunner. Along with Countless Aunts and Uncles, and cousins and friends.
