Hi this is Cristina Diaz,
I'm Jesus Diaz’s little sister, everyone knows him as Jesse. My brother has been ill for a few years now and has been seeking medical attention to cure his condition. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been able to cure his illness on time. As I'm typing, I'm with my brother at Stanford Hospital. He is lying in bed accompanied by family and friends. We are blessed to be by his side as he only has a few days left to live.
Jesse was born at Saint Luke’s Hospital in San Francisco CA. on April 24, 1982. He was raised and cared for by his mother Antonia Sanchez and father Jesus Diaz. Jesse grew up in South San Francisco CA. He attended school at Spruce Elementary School, Parkway Middle School, and South San Francisco High School.
A lot of you may remember my mom Antonia, she worked at Spruce Elementary School.
Jesse was blessed to have raised 2 small kids, Jesse 9yrs. & Nathan 8yrs. old. His kids mean the world to him. His joy was to spend time with them. He liked to do things like take them to Fisherman’s Warf to buy ice cream and walk around. Sometimes you would see him with his kids on Linden Ave., all 3 of them with fresh new haircuts. Sadly, these two boys are losing their father.
Jesse is the type of person in your life that you can’t live without. His smirky smile and always trying to make you laugh with all his silly jokes. He always had new tag lines, slogans, or even nickname’s that he’d give everybody. A jokester and Comedian at heart. Even though he's hurting, he always remains positive, energetic, and strong. My brother has always worked hard to help care for his kids and help his friends when he saw them struggling financially. I can remember his very first job was as a newspaper delivery boy in South City. We would sit together on Saturday mornings, prepping the papers for his route. When visiting him here at Stanford Hospital, one of his best friends mentioned that as kids Jesse would let him borrow clothes when his parents could not afford to buy him any. This way he would not have to wear the same clothes back to back. That’s my Brother, kind hearted and always trying to help others.
My Mom, Dad, brothers and I are humbly asking for help from family, relatives, acquaintances & friends for help to raise money to help with funeral expenses. Currently we are working on what would be the best beneficial way to cover all the cost. If in all possible were asking for help, any amount would be helpful
From the bottom of our hearts thank you so much for your help during these difficult times. May God bless your hearts and family.
Sincerely:
-Diaz & Sanchez Familia
