Support for Jesse Rutt and Father's Memorial Costs
Donation protected
On November 29th, 2024, our brother Jesse went missing. From that day our family never stopped looking for him. We were adamant that we would find our brother and bring him home. Unfortunately, on December 30th, 2024 Pennsylvania State Police found Jesse deceased in an underground quarry in Slatington, PA.
Our father never obtained closure in Jesse’s disappearance. He lost his battle with cancer on December 29th, the day before Jesse’s body was found.
Losing one family member is hard enough, but losing two in such a short time is unbearable. Apart from the emotional hardship, the unexpected financial burden left to our mother is great.
We are humbly asking for the community’s support. Our mother lost her husband and youngest son. Financial help for funeral costs allows for one less stressor and provides her the means to focus on her grief.
Jesse was an animal lover. We all called him the animal whisperer. Every day, he would go to the back yard to feed the squirrels and chipmunks peanuts. They are so accustomed to him that they wait for him daily. The squirrels have been looking in the patio door; they’re still waiting for him to return.
He enjoyed long walks and fresh air. Many people have met or seen Jesse just from his treks on the local trails. Jesse loved his family deeply and would be the first to help out anyone, often walking peoples dogs for free. He was a loving brother, son, uncle, nephew, and cousin and is already deeply missed.
