Support for Jess and her family

Jessica’s mom has suffered a medical emergency and it’s a long road to recovery.  They are going through a really rough time and need our help. If you can’t donate please considering sharing this post. 

Carmen is not only Jessica’s mom and best friend but also her roommate. Let’s help Jessica, Qope, and Carla not worry about how rent or travel is going to get paid for so that Carmen can focus on recovering without worrying about her loving family.


To our family and friends :

Saturday morning our mom was admitted to the hospital. She is not doing well, but some relief we have is that they are finally able to manage her pain and she is “comfortable”.
We are hopeful they will find the best treatment moving forward. They are still ruling things out and constantly running tests. They believe she has a form of Gullain Barré Syndrome which causes ascending paralysis. They intubated her early this morning and put in a feeding tube . It happens to some people after a virus or infection. The body starts attacking the nervous system.
Although she is on a ventilator she is still conscious and waking intermittently.

Our mom is strong, and although the road to recovery may be long, if anyone has the fight in them it’s her.
